FILTER MEDIA CONSULTING, founded in late 1978 and incorporated in 1979, has published more than 35 multi-client reports since the mid-80s worldwide on different topics. They include the major report “Nonwovens in Filtration Worldwide”; Polymer Melt Filtration--Europe and North America; Meltblown; Spunbonded Nonwovens in Filtration, Microfiber and Electret Nonwoven Media in Dry Filtration; Hot-Gas Media Filtration; HEPA/ULPA Filtration; Needled Felts for Dry & Liquid Filtration; Nanofiber Technology in Filtration, Automotive Engine & Cabin Air Filters, Air-Intake Filters, just to name the most important publications.

FMC offers troubleshooting services; a specialties service mainly for the end-user industry when an independent, third-party opinion is needed for assessments of process problems with existing filtration equipment. This service is available for dry dust filtration as well as liquid filtration.

We know filters worldwide - their manufacturers, markets, applications and industries, trends, filter media use in dry and liquid filtration and many other important aspects.

FMC offers knowledge about media filtration including automotive filters, baghouse filters, HEPA/ULPA, HVAC filters, dust cartridge filters, filters for face masks, air cleaners, respirators, vacuum cleaners, swimming pools and many more.

FMC was also quite possibly the largest organizers of international filtration conferences worldwide. We have organized major events in the past several years.

Filter Media Consulting (FMC) is now a part of Business Co-ordination House (BCH), headed by Mr. Samir Gupta - Managing Director and have jointly published the first filtration report on the Indian Market for Nonwoven and Woven Fabrics in February 2010 along with the former principal of the company, Lutz Bergmann, who has more than fifty (50) years experience in pollution control, notably media filtration. He had been associated with leading industrial textile manufacturers such as Vice-President with A. KAYSER in Einbeck and THOMAS J. HEIMBACH in Düren/Germany and with ALBANY INTERNATIONAL and MILLIKEN & CO. in the U.S. Experience in top management positions included product development, marketing, and division responsibilities.

Consulting services have included 150 single and multi-client market reports with subscribers in 35+ countries. Single-client reports have focused on many different subjects. Lutz Bergmann had presented 150+ papers at conferences on four continents and had been published in technical journals around the world.

Numerous licensee agreements had been completed including a European air pollution control manufacturer, dry absorption systems for acid gas control, water/oil separation, coalesce, and related filter equipment, pollution control accessories and others.
